Choose a Path

Paths on Aeortha are varied, but choose a main path wisely for it affects your choices of secondary path and your race.

You can choose up to, two paths, such as Champion/Healer or Necro/Scholar, or even Bard/Ranger.


Champion:
Races:All
(Good)
Champions are warriors of the light. They have natural abilities in all fighting forms, ie. hand-to-hand, archery and close combat.

War-Lord:
Races:All
(Evil)
War-lords are warriors of the darkness. They have natural abilities in all fighting forms, ie. hand-to-hand, archery and close combat.

Priest:
Races:All
(Good)
Priests are workers of magic blessed by the gods of their faith. Their type of magic depends upon their god.
Priests of the White Lord and Lady:
Masters of Blessing and Enhancement Magic.
Sheildmaidens of Tanass:
Masters of Healing Magic, as well as being masters of hand-to-hand combat.
Priests of Morsoth:
Masters of Rune Magic.
Priests of the One God:
Masters of Blessing and Healing Magic.
Vetula:
Secondary Path Only
Vetulas call upon Flidhais for their powers, using Drayocht to bless or curse their targets.

Necromancers:
Races:Fey, humans, dwarves
(Evil)
Necromancers are workers of death magic. The reanimation of dead souls and bodies is their purview. Dedicated in service to the Dark Ones, their magic is tainted and evil.

Ranger:
Races:Fey and humans
(Good or Neutral)
Rangers are masters of the Forests, and Nature Magic. They can tap into the forces of Aeortha for beneficial spells and healing. They are master trackers and accomplished hunters and archers.

Rogue:
Races:All
(Evil or Neutral)
Rogues are master Thieves and Pickpockets. Though they can turn their skills for the light, they more often choose the darkness. They have the ability to call the shadows to shroud them, to find things that are lost, and to pick all but the most magic-enhanced locks.

Bard:
Races:Fey, humans, dwarves
(Good or Neutral)
Bards have the ability to turn music and song into a form of magic. Use of their gifts is limited to those within the hearing of their song or music.

Mage:
Races:Fey and humans
(Good or Evil)
Mages are masters of Formulaic Magic. They are constantly coming up with more complex and difficult spells.

Scholar:
Races:All
(Good or Evil)
Scholars are a secondary path, only.

Scholars are masters of Research Magic. They can find ancient magic and use it.

Healer:
Races:All
(Good or Neutral)
Healers are a secondary path, only.

Healers can tap into themselves and others and heal all but the most mortal of injuries.
