| The second Field Day this year took place on March 14th with half the contingent spending the day traning in Ballykinler while the other half brushed up on the orienteering skills in Tollymore Forest Park in the Mourne Mountains. The 2 Challenge Shield teams spent the day zeroing weapons, practicing Fire Control Orders and other discplines for the competition which takes place in May at Magilligan Camp. Promotions were also anounced for the incoming year. At Ballykinler, cadets were split into 3 platoons which rotated around the SAT Range, the CTR Range and Fieldcraft. |
