| The first range day of the year took place on Sunday 13th October in preparation for the contingent field day the following Thursday and Friday. Some cadets went hillwalking with Lt Spence and Lt Boyle, and the remainder stayed at Ballykinler for a day of different activities - these included cooking 24hr ration packs, learning section attacks and doing some camouflage and concealment in the stripwood. The main activity however was time on the range getting in some practice and sorting out zeroing and despite the weather everything went well. Below are just a few photos from the day... |
