BVHERO Monthly Meetings |
Brandywine Valley Home Education Resource Organization, Inc. (BVHERO) was established in 1999 as a ‘for the members, by the membership’ type of organization. Its purpose is still the same; to assist families trying to acquire an independent education.
BVHERO is an independent educational communication networking system that has been designed to distribute homeschooling information to its membership, by its membership and to help facilitate networking of homeschooling families in our immediate and surrounding areas. BVHERO is centrally located in the Northern Delaware area and invites everyone to become an active member, regardless of age, race, religion, marital status, educational philosophy or geographical location. |
Parents' Meeting and Social Night: Each month BVHERO sponsors an Informational Social. We meet at the Brandywine Hundred Library on Foulk Rd from 7:00-8:30 (we often continue socializing afterwards at a local restaurant). Please check the website or yahoo lists for accurate times, location and agenda. People are encouraged to bring resources and questions. Anyone interested in homeschooling is welcome to attend. (Free babysitting will be made available on the premises, upon request). MEETING DATES Tuesday, May 4, 2009 7:00-8:30PM in Study Room 228 on the 2nd floor |
Homeschooling Information Night & Used Curriculum Sale: Held near the beginning of June, the Information Night & used curriculum sale provides an opportunity to reach out to both the general public and the homeschooling community about homeschooling information and resources in our areas. The expenses incurred while providing this out reach service to the community is factored into BVHEROs’ yearly budget. See the Homeschooling Information Night page for location, date, and time |
