| Magic at Midnight Chapter 1 by: Fiction Fairy Disclaimer: Oh yeah just so you all know I don't own Sailor Moon nor am I Japanese anyways so yeah. The characters belong to who created them and stuff like that. Warnings: Don't come here looking for too much violence and more romance than just kissing! My story is rated G for crying out loud! One dark night when the moon did not shine through the thick clouds. A small girl with long pink hair stumbled through the local park. She was dressed in rather strange clothing like a sailor dress of pink, white, and yellow. Hair tied up in two pigtails with cone shaped buns on either side of her head. The wind started picking up more than before trying to trip the young girl. Her name was Chibi-Usa. Rain started to pour down in torrents before she knew it. She gazed around with gaping deep crimson eyes. “Usagi-chan!!!” She cried. “Where are you?” The young girl dropped to her knees and sobbed. Why had she let Usagi out of her sight? She was a Sailor Soldier and was supposed to protect her fellow soldiers and her future mother. Chibi-Usa rose to her feet. She stumbled along the park’s brick path slowly. Her small skinny body started to shiver. Soaking wet, she pressed on. Searching for Usagi. After a few minutes she falls and skins her knee. Crying out in pain Chibi-Usa grasps her knee. Her eyes fill with tears that pour out of her deep crimson eyes. “Mommy-Usagi, Daddy-Mamoru... where are you??” She cries out into the vast night. Feeling much lonelier than ever Chibi-Usa drops down on her knees again hopeless and sobbing. She wipes her nose on her white glove. Suddenly the huge clock on a tower chimes eleven times. It was now eleven O’clock. She was tired and lost in the middle of the park. “Puuuuu!!!!!” She calls out desperately. “Please help me, I’m all alone.” A violet portal appears with the silloette of a tall woman carrying a large staff and from what the shadows tell she also wears a sailor dress. The shadows clear away. In the shadow’s place is a tall woman with a tanned complexion, long dark emerald hair, and gentle dark crimson eyes. “Why do you cry out to me so, Small Lady?” She asks in a comforting tone. Chibi-Usa drys her eyes on her glove as well and sniffles. “I was separated from Mommy-Usagi and Daddy-Mamoru durring a battle. I’m all alone and frightened,”She explained. “Why didn’t you just call out to Pegasus?” Sailor Pluto asked. She stared up at the taller woman. “I forgot I guess-- Any ways do you know where Mommy-Usagi and Daddy-Mamoru are?” She asked, half sobbing still. Sailor Pluto crouched down onto her knees and took little Chibi-Usa into her strong arms. “I’m afraid I don’t, Small Lady,” She replied. “I’ll tell you what though. We will go back in time far enough till before the battle is over. You will be able to see yourself but not change it. Remember where Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen go and you will know when we return to the present time.” Chibi-Usa wipes the tears from her eyes once again. A bright smile displayed on her childish face. She wrapped her arms around Pluto’s neck to hug her. “You’re the best, Puu!” She exclaims. Pluto smiles at the sweet child in her arms and plants a kiss on her forehead. “I promise this will all turn out OK.” She said with a nod. Once back in the past, Pluto and Chibi-Usa watch as the battle between Ves Ves and the Sailor Soldiers rages on. “MARS FLAME SNIPER!!!” “VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!” The attacks continue in a difficult battle. Soon Ves Ves gives up and vanishes behind her crimson pool ball taking Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen with her. “Later losers! Catch me if you can!” She exclaims the same way she has mocked them many times before. They watch in astonishment as the rest of the Sailor Soldiers hurry away in search of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen, leaving Chibi-Usa behind. Chibi-Usa is seen blacked out on the ground. How could they just forget about me? Chibi-Usa questions in her mind. They knew I had been knocked out. Once back in the present time she drops down to her knees once more and sobs. “HOW COULD YOU ALL??? SAILOR VENUS, MERCURY, MARS, AND JUPITER!!! YOU ALL ABANDONED ME!!” She cries out in anger. Pluto kneels beside the small girl. “Please control your anger, Small Lady.” She asks gently placing her hand on the girl’s back. The small girl continues to cry uncontrollably for a few moments before regaining her composure.Rising to her feet, she takes out her bell. “Please, Pegasus, come to my aid. CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!” Suddenly a white horse with wings of an angel, blue mane and tail, and a pointed horn on his forehead appears in the sky. “Chibi-Usa...what is it you wish to summon me for?” He asks with a twinkle in his eye. “Helios, Please, help me find my Mommy and Daddy.” She pleads. The Pegasus transforms into a boy wearing all white, blue eyes, and white hair. He was smiling at her. “Of course, I will do anything you wish.” He said. Helios leaned over placed a hand around her jaw bone and kissed Chibi-Usa on the lips gently and passionately. Chibi-Usa kisses him back tenderly, her tender young lips starting to get used to kissing now. She smiles up at him once the kiss is broken. She smiles brightly, “Now I know it wasn’t all a dream, Helios,” She said. He nods slowly, “Let’s go find Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kaman, shall we?” He asks with a grin. Chibi-Usa nods. They walk off hand in hand leaving Sailor Pluto standing there in the park, alone. |
