| Magic at Midnight Chapter 2 by: Fiction Fairy Helios walks along hand in hand with Chibi-Usa. Once they are out of sight of Sailor Pluto, he holds his arm around her waist, holding her close to him and safe. She leans her head on his strong shoulder. It was nearly midnight now and she was quite tired now. A small yawn was all she let out as she walked weakly along the stone path. They soon came to a portal. “Should we go through it?” Helios asked. Chibi-Usa nodded weakly. “Yes,” she quietly said. They walked through and instantly they were in a circus-type area. “Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in,” a voice from the shadows said. “Who are you?” Chibi-Usa asked in an annoyed tone. The voice only laughed. It sounded like a woman’s voice. “Reveal yourself!” Helios cried. “Oh, this is just perfect.” the voice said. She stepped out of the shadows and revealed that she, in fact, was Ves Ves. “What is perfect?” Chibi-Usa demanded. “The fact that you two would just happen to show up at this time.” She flicked on more lights to reveal a large cage with Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus all trapped inside. “Please help us!!!” Sailor Moon wailed. Chibi-Usa shot them a sharp glare. “Oh yeah? And why should I?” She questioned. “Because we are fellow soldiers and we always help each other.” Chibi-Usa let her mind drift off to when they left her behind. Tears started to fill her eyes. She blinked them back and stopped herself. “NO!” She shouted. “You all left me behind before! Why should I help you now, Sailor Moon?” She stared at her coldly. “You are such a coward, Sailor Moon!” At that she spat at Sailor Moon and turned away. She broke into a run and stormed out of the tent. She ran and just kept on running. Tears streamed down her face. She didn’t bother to wipe them away. Many thoughts danced through her mind. None that made all too much sense. She didn’t even realize that she left Helios behind. Meanwhile, back at the tent, Ves Ves took advantage of Chibi-Usa’s running off. She laughed evilly. Finally she would capture Helios! She turned towards him and instantly captured him in a round orb. “Finally! Zerconia will be pleased!” |
