| 1.) No god moding. God moding is refusing to let your character be injured, captured, killed, tricked, or harmed in any way. In other words, your character is not a god, so don't act like it. 2.) No rip-off characters. I don't care how cool you think Goku is, you can't play him in this RPG. The same goes for ripping off other players' characters. If it looks like you copy/pasted someone else's profile and changed their name to yours, you'll get rejected. 3.) When it comes to character conflicts, you can slap each other, spit on each other, cuss at each other, knee each other in the groin...whatever. Just make sure that in-game fights stay in-game. I don't want people getting mad at each other and starting some stupid flame war because of something that happened within the game. 4.) Don't assume anything works. For instance, if you throw a punch at someone, don't expect them to get hit. This is covered more in-depth in the basic roleplay section. 5.) Keep things mildly clean. No graphic depictions of sex. Profanity is fine, violence is fine...but I don't want this to become a cybersex board. 6.) Use decent grammar and spelling. You're at a computer. Computers have spellcheck. Use it. Do not use netslang abbreviations like "u" for "you" and "omg" for "Oh my god!". It really breaks the mood. For example: Johansson Smith ran down the hall, clutching his cougar magnums tightly in each hand. Perspiration ran down his forehead and stung his eyes, but he ignored it. His objective was too important for him to be bothered by minor distractions. He saw something move out of the corner of his eye. Turning abruptly, he found himself staring into the eyes of his arch-rival...the very man who had killed his parents, raped his girlfriend, burned down his house, and stole his hat. "OMFG! WTF r u doing here!?" He said, readying his weapons and staring into the man's eyes. "LOL, liek, i could ask u teh same!" He replied. Looks ridiculous, doesn't it? |

| 1.) Keep things in the appropriate forums. Don't pimp out your links in the roleplaying board. Likewise, don't roleplay in the link-pimping board. Easy enough, right? 2.) Don't insult or flame other players or potential players. Feel free to insult everyone else, including (but not limited to) leaders of various countries/political movements, celebrities, and any band that has ever been played on MTV. 3.) No ridiculously large forum sigs/avatars. These take forever to load on 56k, and can make the boards look terrible on lower resolutions. 4.) If you have any questions, comments, or just need help with something, contact me. That's why there is a "Contact" page, and not simply a page that says "Screw you." Although, a "screw you" page would be pretty funny. 5.) This is a game. It's here for your amusement. Don't take it too seriously, and have fun. |
