Longest
Non Stop Dancing
To
whom it may concern,
South Africa will be setting a
record in the category "Longest Non Stop Dancing" on Friday the 6th,
Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of
September 2002. This is a South African attempt and is
organized by the owners of THE LATIN AMERICAN AND BALLROOM
DANCE STUDIO - Wynand and Penny.
About 70 dancers will start at 06h00 on
Friday morning and attempt to complete to 36 hours or more. This will be
done without any sleeping and will be continuous. It will be held at the Menlyn Park Shopping Centre Arena and everybody is welcome
to come and support the dancers. This record has never been set so your
support will really be appreciated.
Anybody that is interested in taking part
in this event, must contact us as soon as possible, to find out what all the
requirements are for this event. However, the final date for
applications was 31 July 2002, but
late entries will still be accepted until the 30th August
2002 (with arrangement).

I am interested in
obtaining some of the instructional tapes as advertised on your web site. In the social (Bronze, Silver) category I'm
looking for the following:
* Foxtrot * Waltz
* Tango * Quickstep * Swing * Boogie * Cha-cha * Samba * Rumba * Mambo
Can you please
prepare a quotation for me. With regards
to postage - I see your banking details list Sunnyside, so if it would be
possible for me to fetch the tape(s) from you, please exclude postage in your
quotation. If this would not be
possible, please add postage to your quotation, I live in Centurion.
Also, I would like
to ask about the two-step in the social category - Is it the same as Foxtrot as
in the International Competitive category?
Could your please elaborate a bit on it.
Before I actually
order the tapes I would like to see a short demo - would that be possible? Again, I'm wiling to come to you to view it.
Lastly, are the
videos only available in VHS format? I
would prefer an electronic format as it can be played again and again without
eventually losing quality like with VHS.
