| Lavender Town's Diversity Gym was founded by Robert in the year 2000. Robert firmly believes in using a wide variety of Pokemon Types to win, unlike other Gym Leaders in Kanto and Johto who focus on a single Type of Pokemon, such as Rock or Water. He believes that all Pokemon Types, except Bug due to a personal bias, should be given equal attention, since each one has its own strengths. |
