This is where I am going to be putting up my personal opinions of the episodes as I see them. (The American version)

Episode 1: The Girl from the Mystic Moon

I hated that this wasn't the origional first episode, but instead was the first 2 episodes combined. None of the voices were too annoying. The battle scene was a bit rushed. How did Hitomi get her duffel bag with her? She only had her necklace when she arrived on Gaea. The biggest annoyance was when she kept on saying "Hey! Look out!" the exact same way every time. She also seemed to whine a bit too much. I wish that the opening wasn't changed, but I like the segments that was spliced together. Some of the words that was said was a little bit hard to tell what was being said. I had to watch it in closed-captioned to make sure that I understood everything.

Episode 2: The Gallant Swordsman

First off, I thought that this episode was a big improvement from the first one. Dilandau's voice I thought was a little bit annoying, I was expecting him to sound more sinister. I have no way of comparing his American voice to the Japanese one; maybe they are similar? I guess it will grow on me! I thought that they were going to show Escaflowne turning into the dragon, according to the previews of the last epi. Maybe the previews are for the future episodes instead of the very next one? I thought that it was hilarious when Allan kissed Hitomi and Van and Dilandau acted jealous....lol! Still laughing over that as well as all the little hints that Van was jealous of Allen. I still felt a little bit left in the dark about a few things, but that is a common occurance for me.

I will add up the episodes as I see them. And also expand on the others as I watch them more and more...
