| GHOST OF A CHANCE (Episode 71) While looking over some tapes workers at a TV station notice a strange shadow in everyone of their tapes. Meanwhile, the kids are just returning from the DigiWorld. T.K. and Kari tell the other kids about their "Big Plans" for the next day. They tell them that tomorrow marks the four-year Anniversary of when the DigiDestined last defeated the other evil force in the DigiWorld. Tai and the others show up and tell the whole story about what happened four years ago. T.K. and Matt's dad comes home and tells them about the ghost in the TV station. Izzy finds a way to open a DigiPort without the use of a computer, and that the digiport is really powered by the kids D-3's. The kids finally make it to the TV station and discover that the ghost is really wizardmon who wants to talk to Gatomon. Wizardmon tells them that they "must return the one wrapped in darkness to his true self." |
| RUN YOLIE RUN (Episode 72) While in the DigiWorld, Izzy and Cody discover the Digimon Emperor's headquarters. They are attacked by evil digimon, but the kids digimon take care of them with no problem. The kids all agree to not leave the DigiWorld until the Digimon Emperor's base has been destroyed. Just so no one will wonder where they are the older kids tell their parents that they are all going camping, that way their parents will not worry about them. The older kids really go camping to cover them. When the younger kids get to the DigiWorld they find that the Base is no longer where it was the first time. Dokugumon attacks Yolei and Hawkmon takes the blast that was meant for her. Veemon digivolves into Flamedramon and destroys Dokugumon. Just as it is getting dark, Yolei and Kari notice the Emperor's base is floating in the air. |
| AN OLD ENEMY RETURNS (Episode 73) The Digimon Emperor is Busy working on creating his own evil digimon. Meanwhile, Cody and Submarimon find the base and try to sneak in through an under water tunnel. They get inside and shortly after, T.K. and Pegasusmon catch up with them. Digmon, Tentomon, and Cody set all of the captured digimon inside the base free. The Digimon Emperor sets free the digimon he has created, Kimeramon, this digimon is made up of several different parts of the kids digimon. Kimeramon attacks Yolei and Kari. Back in the Base, T.K. fights with the Digimon Emperor after he hits T.K. with his whip. Kimeramon is too strong, so all of the kids retreat. |
| THE DARKNESS BEFORE DAWN (Episode 74) Kimeramon is still causing trouble in the DigiWorld. Just as the digimon Emperor's base flys by, the digimon set a pipeline on fire in front of it, forcing it to stop. This gives the other kids a chance to sneak inside the base. Bakemon attacks the kids, but the kid's digimon take care of them. However, as soon as those Bakemon are gone, more of them show up, along with Kimeramon. The bakemon are again destroyed but Kimeramon is still too strong for them, so the kids and digimon leave him alone. The kids finally make it to the "Control Room" where Davis finds a Golden DigiEgg that belongs to him. |
| THE CREST OF KINDNESS (Episode 75) Veemon digivolves to Magnamon using the Golden DigiEgg. Kimeramon show up again and starts attacking the kids, but this time he also turns on Ken. Over time, the base is finally destroyed. Wormmon gives Magnamon what little energy he has left, and tells him to save Ken. Using this extra power, Magnamon is able to destroy Kimeramon. The kids tell Ken that digimon are real. After he figures out that he really was causing pain, he feels really bad about what he has done and will no longer be the Digimon Emperor. Ken gets the crest of Kindness, however, Wormmon disappears because he has used up all of his power. Ken leaves the DigiWorld and returns home. Finally, the other kids leave the DigiWorld and end up in the campground where Matt and T.K.'s Dad takes them all home. |
