HOME FOR THE ABANDONED AND HOMELESS CHILDREN During the year 1995-1996, the Club ebarked on a project to built and fully furnish a home for the abandoned and homeless babies and mentally retarded children. This home was developed at Otiende Estate, a low class income area of Nairobi. The home is looked after by Missionary of Charity – one of Mother Teressa’s Organizations, in conjunction with Lions Club Nairobi – Gigiri and German Lions The total cost of this project was US $40,000.00 |
