You're reading a Harry Potter book... your stomach growls... do you ever wish you could eat some of the magical treats that Harry, Ron, and Hermione eat? Well, bring out your measuring cups, and get ready to create some magical delights. Butterbeer: A Three-Broomstick's favorite! I've sampled several Butterbeer recipes that I've found on the Web (and I must say that most of them are naaasty!) and I think that this version is actually pretty good. Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups of milk 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 teaspoon of butter Instructions: 1. Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the saucepan. Blend with a small handmixer if you want it to be extra frothy. 3. Bring the mixture almost to boiling. 4. Pour and Serve! (Cheater's Version: Put all ingredients into microwave-friendly cup, stir, and microwave until it's warm!) Chilled Butterbeer: I've never actually experimented with this version, but it sounds good, so I figured I'd list it anyway... Ingredients: Ginger Ale OR Cream Soda 2-3 tablspoons butterscotch syrup Instructions: Mix and Serve over ice! More recipes on the way! Check back soon!
