THE SCOTTISH SUNDAY POST 'WEDDING OF THE YEAR' COMPETITION
 

Pretty self-explanatory, I think.  There was a competition in the weekly Sunday Post looking for the Wedding of the Year in Scotland, as weddings had been in the news so much that year, due to the Pop Wedding, the Royal Wedding and every other in between!

I entered the competition without telling Graham, and I thought the paper might be interested in u haivng met the Internet.  Well,  they were as one day when Graham was off work sick, he got a phone call from the 'Sunday Post' asking him about our entry and could they send a photographer around to the house?!?
So once I had told Graham what was happening, they sent a photographer around and he took some photos off us in front of the computer with our guestbook as it featured messages from our website.  They interviewed Graham over the phone and then we waited to see when the atricle woudl bein print and it we had won or not!

Eventually in the December 19th issue, we saw our names and faces in print!  Unfortunately, we weren't the winners but we were finalists and here is the article they printed!

It was fun to see ourselves in the Newspapers; now I am trying to get our official photographs in one of the wedding magazines!!
