March has been chosen as the month to honor great women in history. The picture shows Florence Nightingale. She was a nurse who lived in Britain a long time ago. Granni found a wonderful website with biographies about famous women. They were ALL written by children. You can go to the Children's Encyclopedia of Women to learn about Florence Nightingale and many other famous women.These children also have a list of important dates in Women's History. Mary wants to make her own website, but she's still a greenhorn, so she is going to join MaMaMedia and create her website there!
