Further, we believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ - that he was born of a virgin; that he lived a sinless life; that he gave up that life of his own free will as the final sacrifice - a love offering - for mankind; and that he was resurrected from the dead on the third day defeating sin and death. We believe that he is alive and reigning in Heaven until his return to judge the world and establish his new kingdom. We believe that Salvation is by Grace through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and that man can do nothing on his own merit to effect it. We believe there is none other name given under Heaven among men by which Salvation can be obtained.
We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only valid answer to the evils of this present world's society. We believe that God has commanded all peoples everywhere to believe in that Gospel, repent, and be baptized. We believe that by so doing, sinners become believers or Christians. We believe it is always the obligation of Christians everywhere to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel they claim to beleive. We believe that Christians should study the Bible and pray daily, attend a Bible-Teaching Church and worship regularly, and serve the Lord in whatever capacity they can. We believe that the Christian's purpose is to worship and glorify God.
We believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (Comforter) to Christians to indwell them and lead them into all truth and equip them for service to him. We believe that the Spirit gives gifts to each believer to be used in service to the Lord. We beleive that God has a plan for every believer's life and that the Holy Spirit helps us recognize that plan and gives us the courage and strength to follow it.
We believe that God ordained the Church and appointed Jesus as its head - he is its mission and its message. We believe that the Church is responsible for baptism - the believer's outward sign of an inward faith - and for keeping the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion) until his return. We believe that Baptism should be by total immersion. We believe the Church is to be supported by believers through their tithes and offerings. We believe the Church is composed of repentant and believing sinners who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and who submit to his sovereign rule and authority as stated in the Bible.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 17:3 - And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Romans 3:10 - As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one:
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life throuth Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 - But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:13 - For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 14:6 - Jesus says to him, I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: no man comes to the Father but by me.
Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 10:9 & 10 - That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 1:12 - But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.
In Revelation 3:20, Jesas says "Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart] and knock: if any man hear my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me". Friend, He is standing there right now. Will you ask Him in?
If your answer to Him is yes, please pray this prayer: "Heavenly Father, I recognize that I am a sinner, who needs a Savior. I want to thank you for sending Jesus down to earth to sacrifice Himself for me, so that I could have your gift of eternal life. I would like to open my heart right now, this minute, to invite Jesus to come in and be that Savior. I want to thank you Jesus for dying for me and thank you for entering my heart because I asked you in. Amen."
