DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

We believe that the three most important documents ever to be produced in this Country  are the Declaration of Independence, The Bill of Rights, and the Constitution.  We believe every Citizen should know these documents as well as they know their own names.  Only by so doing, will Americans be aware of their liberties and rights and become fully capable of protecting them.  We believe that liberalism will cost us our freedom, while conservatism will save it.  We do not believe that the Government should take care of us, we believe in taking care of ourselves.  That is why our forefathers declared their independence - to get away from unobstructed governmental rule. It is what this great Nation was founded upon.  Our hats are off to those men and women of vision and foresight from so long ago.

We are highly PATRIOTIC, as we believe all AMERICANS should be.  We do not believe in burning the Flag, our National Symbol.  In our opinion, any American who performs this act is committing  a treasonous act.  We believe that if an American Citizen has an issue with our Laws or Government, s/he should exercise his/her right to vote or contact his/her Congressional Representative to affect the necessary change. We believe proactive patriotism serves us better than reactive.

CONSTITUTION

We proudly fly our flag on all Patriotic Holidays: Memorial Day, May 30th; Independence Day, July 4th; Flag Day, June 14;  POW/MIA Recognition Day, September 15th; and Veteran's Day, November 23rd, and we encourage all Americans to do the same.  We believe in the right to keep and bear arms.  This right was included in the bill of rights under the second ammendment so that Americans would never have to allow their government to treat them as they were treated under Brittish Sovereignty.  Our founding fathers wanted to assure us that we would be able to protect ourselves from each other and our government.  We believe that responsible citizens should learn and teach others gun safety.  Weapons in the hands of responsible men, women, and children are not dangerous.  Guns are only dangerous in the hands of irresponsible people.  Guns are inanimate objects incapable of thought or action without human intervention.  Only people kill other people.  For more information on this subject, please visit the NRA website.  We believe Americans should take pride in their Country and in the Freedoms inherent in it. These freedoms are ours at a dear cost. They have been fought for and won with the blood of our forefathers.  Our citizenry needs also be aware that those freedoms are being slowly whittled away through the legislative process, because of the apathy of our voting age population.  It is our right, our duty and our responsibility to vote on issues affecting our liberties. If you are not registered to vote, we most strongly encourage you to do so.  The only way to keep our rights is to exercise them!
