Inside the Museum

 The History division is committed to the study and interpretation of the history of San Bernardino County and the southwestern United States. The division maintains collections of artifacts representing the material culture of societies that developed in the southwest over the last 300 years. It is responsible for the preservation and conservation of objects in these collections, as well as related research and interpretive materials. Historical items that interpret locally-significant industries, such as railroad, agriculture, logging, mining and aerospace, are exhibited on the Museum grounds.
