BOSSES : Bosses in dreams can obviously link to issues about work and
if their have been any situations (especially the day before the dream)that
deal with working relationships and with working conditions then it may link
to that. A boss may have a more general and abstract meaning showing that
you need to grasp hold of a situation and take it very seriously. If you have
a busy day ahead of you on the day of the dream it maybe linked to that. If
you are unemployed the dream may link to your thoughts about the job market
or work in general.

COWORKERS : Coworkers can often represent issues at your workplace.
If there was some pressing situation at work the day before then the dream
maybe about that. At work we are forced to get along with people we really
do not like and so the dream maybe about strained relationships. Sometimes
the dream maybe about your work life balance. What part does work play in
your life right now and do you feel happy or strained. Do you feel stimulated
by work. Simply speaking - ask yourself what is the first thing that comes
to mind about work and its probably a dream about that(the comment your boss
made to you or the look that someone gave you). in another sense if there
is some pressing issue regarding a relationship or your own personality then
the dream maybe about you 'working' on that. So if you have put lots of effort
into changing yourself or others then it may link to that.

THE DREAM - I am upstairs and my boss is there. I am looking at the
ceiling and there are pictures of soldiers there. I am cellotaping the pictures.
It makes them into a type of well printed poster. But I do not use the cellotape
on the footballers posters.
THE REALITY The day of the dream I was due to go back to work after an illness.
He had to decide if he should be a team player or take more time off to fully
recover.
DREAM MEANING The dream captures the following feeling within the dreamer
- "I have been ill off work. I am still a little ill but I really want
to go back to work. I like the team spirit we have and do not want to let
the side down"
THE INTERPRETATION When you have to decide on a certain course of action you
need to be able to justify it. So already the dreamer was trying to justify
why he was not ready to return to work just yet. Maybe he would emphasize
the tough and resilient struggle he was having to face - rather similar to
the life of a soldier. The dreamer was sticking things up - maybe symbolizing
the story which he would decide to STICK to.
The dreamer was anticipating the criticism his decision would receive - that
he was not a team player. Football is a symbol of togetherness - you support
a team. The boss was a keen football supporter and emphasized such qualities
in people who worked for him.
So the dream was anticipating the types of criticism which would be coming
His way for not returning.

DREAM TIP : Dreams are about pivotal moments in our emotions. They
represent change. For instance you may suddenly decide that someone you know
is not to be trusted. So on balance you have decided to alter your view.

THE DREAM - I was applying for a job. I was in this lady's office,
she was some kind of seamstress. I was talking to her, but she didn't seem
too impressed with me. I had filled out part of the application, but I guess
not all of it. I told her I had a job until April, then she was like 'oh you
have a job' and she told me to sit down for an interview. There were 2 chairs
there, but I went and got a shorter one. I sat there feeling nervous and doing
the interview. Then I watched as 2 other people interviewed. Then there was
this young guy standing there looking at me. I think he also wanted the job,
so he didn't like me.
Then I was following my boss around this weird looking building. There were
other people there and my boss was giving random orders and talking, I don't
remember about what. Then she said we would be eating in the room with circle
seating. I followed the people into a room with round chairs. Some were also
arranged in a circle. Then all the people there were from my moms neighborhood
association. They were electing someone for something and seemed happy about
their choice.
Some guy brought the food in. there was fried chicken and a few other things.
When I went up there I was a skeleton fighter from the RPG game I play (unpleasant
looking skeleton thing). I got a little hot dog and something else. I was
squeezed ketchup and mustard all over my 2 bite sized foods. And that was
it. I didn't get a lunch break yesterday, so maybe I felt pretty starved.
THE REALITY The dreamer currently had a job but it was due to end in a couple
of months. She stated that "I've been trying harder to be the correct type
of person people want to hire. But job interviews make me nervous."
DREAM MEANING The dream captures the following feeling within the dreamer
- "My job will be ending soon. Its only a temporary contract. But I am
scared about the future. I do not think I am the ideal person an employer
would want. I need to fit into what they want. I know my weaknesses."
THE INTERPRETATION This dream uses obvious word plays here - the RPG game
is links to her own need to play a role. Very soon she realises her contract
will be up and she needs to get another job. She realises that she needs to
be more like the type of person an employer would like to give a job to -
the type who would participate in her mothers Neighborhood Association. The
Role Playing Game makes an appearance because she needs to play a role. She
needed create an idealism representation of herself.

capture all major issues and in particular things that took place the day
before. Think of quotes like "I got really angry yesterday. Its something
I have got to control", or "I have been looking over the work rosters and
might make some changes", or "I have almost got over my leg injury and may
even be able to start jogging again". Now read through those quotes again
and try to see where the phrases "working on something emotionally" or "at
work" seem to have any relevance. If there is more than one issue which could
link then look for clues from other symbols.

THE REALITY The dreamer was starting up a new business and was not having
a great success.
DREAM MEANING The dream captures the following feeling within the dreamer
- "I am starting up my own business whilst still working in town. But
the new business is not going very well"
THE INTERPRETATION If you are running your own business then if your boss
fires you then you are revealing some weakness in your own management. The
dreamer had a job but also was setting up his own business. But the business
was not going well. His own management techniques were therefor being brought
into question because he was boss.
