At first glance, Hakkai might seem like the optimist of the group. Well, yep, he is. The only difference is, he hides his real feelings behind that charming smile.
The thing with Hakkai is, he also has a "hidden" persona behind all the laughs and smiles and grins. Once he gets serious, man, you're in for it. And it gets even worse when he turns youkai. (Tenpou: Saw it for myself... o_O;; scary na..)

Well, if you actually go and think about it, it kinda fits him. You don't know whether he's really smiling or whether it's his defense mechanism. That's what makes this man mysterious! ^^
