1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter thinks he is a normal boy until on his 11th birthday, he learns he is a wizard and he is taken to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by a half-giant. There he discovers he is famous and he makes some friends. He faces difficult and dangerous challenges along the way. He is almost killed by a powerful dark wizard called Lord Voldemort who tried to kill Harry as a baby but failed.

2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

In Harry Potter's second year at Hogwarts, he faces some more dangerous challenges on the way to discover who (or what) is trying to kill Muggle-born students at the school. He solves mysterious mysteries with the help of his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

In Harry's third year, he discovers that a supposed murder (who is thought to have broken out of a wizard's jail to kill Harry) is his godfather and with the help of Ron and Hermione, he finds out the truth about his godfather and sets him free. He also makes some new friends on his journey.

4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Harry's forth year at Hogwarts is full of surprises. He is mysteriously entered in the Triwizard Tournament and has to complete tasks. On the way to the end of the tournament, strange and unexplainable things happen to Harry and others around him. In the end, his courage and strength is tested and the worst is revealed.

5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The fifth year of magical education is certainly an interesting one for Harry and his friends. Much new information is revealed and a horrible new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher is introduced. Harry faces many struggles this year and is very angry at everyone. The book starts and ends with a bang, but the ending is very shocking, saddening and the most important information that will influence Harry's life forever is uncovered.
