West Virgina in Autumn
is truly the Beauty of the Earth

West Virginia is beautiful in the autumn when the mountians are covered with all shades of color. This is the best time for Sunday afternoon drives to the country side. We can see the true results of Gods paint brush as we view the beauty of the country side. We always love taking our camera and driving for hours looking at the fall leaves. Here are a few photos that we snapped in upstate Upshur County.

This speaks for itself, don't you think?

More country scenery..

A little Post Office building..

A big farm house..

This summer cabin belongs to a friend of ours,
he and his family come here often during the summer
and in the late fall this little yard is buzzing with deer hunters..
Notice the little out house on the left. :)

This is one of the West Virginia country roads.
If you look close, my husband Darrel, is walking up the hill.
He had been exploring. The walk was a little more than I wanted
after a long day on the road.

More pretty fall colors.

Another of many country roads. I Love them!

Hope you have enjoyed some of my photos of the pretty leaves
in the mountians of West Virginia.

I had looked everywhere for the Official West Virginia Song-midi.
This one was sent to me by a web-friend, Jim Ransbottom. Thanks Jim!!
