Storyline Synopsis: (What has happened so far)

CHAPTER ONE

The Galaxy is in turmoil as Rebellion threatens to tear apart the social reformations brought on by the New Order. Intrigue swells within the Core Worlds, as several high-ranking Imperial Intelligence operations are compromised and Personnel begin disappearing. Terrorists repeatedly attack high level targets, including the Emperor himself. After overrunning a State Dinner at Lord Vader’s palace, the terrorists are killed, though it soon becomes apparent that a significant security breach exists within Imperial Intelligence, Compnor, or both.

Meanwhile, Ysanne Isard launches her bid to become the premier advisor to Emperor Palpatine by blackmailing several High Ranking Nobles, including Lords Bishop, Vader, Weston and even Sate Pestage. She begins an aggressive prosecution of known ISO Operatives, labeling them as a dangerous cult, on the verge of a coup d’etat.

CHAPTER TWO

The Deathstar is destroyed at Yavin, throwing the Empire into a state of panic. Martial Law is declared and several suspected Rebel sympathizers are summarily executed after token trials. Individual freedoms are restricted, tariff on trade is increased, travel bans and curfews are enacted, all while spending on security and the military is increased seventeen percent- the largest peacetime increase in Imperial History.

Tensions with the Hapes consortium flare, as travel in and out is constricted. Hapes increases it’s intelligence operations within the Empire, and vice versa. The Corporate Sector enters secret negotiations with the Rebels, hoping to broker deals for weapons sales to the alliance- partly to avoid the increased trafficking tariffs imposed by the Empire.

The ISO is eventually exonerated and placed in statutory command of all Imperial Intelligence services. Isard is disgraced by a series of Intelligence failures, and Lord Vader becomes the chief Counsel to the Emperor.

The Mon Calamari succeed from the Empire, successfully throwing off their Imperial Slavemasters and committing their full forces to the Alliance. Two months later, at the urging of the Calamari, the Rebels invade the Endeno system, but are soundly repulsed and defeated by the Imperial Forces from neighboring systems. Several top Imperial Military Officers are imprisoned, executed or forcibly retired for the failure to properly prepare for the invasion.
