George Washington Isley, son of Henry of George of Malachi, and Eliza Malinda Lamb Isley moved to Hendricks County, Indiana a short time prior to March 1872. Eliza’s brother Branson was already living in Indiana. Branson had served in the same unit, Company F, 53rd North Carolina Infantry Regiment, as George during the Civil War. George and his family then moved to Alabama in 1878.

John Wesley Coble and Polly MOSER Coble moved to Dubois County, Indiana sometime between son Willis Sherman’s birth in 1864 and daughter Mary Ellen’s birth in 1867. Polly MOSER was the daughter of Levi Moser and Molly ISLEY of George of Malachi. John and Polly moved to Grayson County, Kentucky sometime between 1880 and her death in 1897. Click

William M. Hinshaw and Dora A. SHOFFNER Hinshaw moved to Hendricks County, Indiana sometime between December 1887 and 1900. Dora was the daughter of Jacob Shoffner and Catherine ISLEY of Daniel of George of Malachi.
INDIANA Territory was created in 1800 from the Northwest Territory. In 1805 the Michigan Territory was created from the Indiana Territory; in 1809, the Illinois Territory was created from the Indiana Territory. Indiana became a State on
December 11, 1816. The name "Indiana" simply means "land of the Indians."  This refers to a large number of Indians that were located throughout the state when the first settlers to this state arrived

HENDRICKS COUNTY was organized by legislative act December 28, 1823, which was made effective by formal organization April 21, 1824. Named for William Hendricks, Governor of  Indiana when the county was organized.
DUBOIS COUNTY was organized by Legislative act December 18, 1817, which became effective February 1, 1818. It was Named for Captain Toussaint DuBois who served as head of the guards and spies in the Tippecanoe Campaign under General William Henry Harrison.
KENTUCKY was originally a part of Virginia. The land that is now Kentucky was formed into Kentucky county, Virginia in 1776. Four years later it was divided into the Fayette, Jefferson, and Lincoln counties of Virginia. It became the fifteenth State of the United States on June 1, 1792.  Kentucky comes from an Iroquoian word “Ken-tah-ten” meaning “land of tomorrow”
GRAYSON COUNTY
Grayson County was established  January 25, 1810 from the western part of Hardin and the eastern part of Ohio County. The county was named for Col. William Grayson, an aide to Gen. Washington
