 The
movie, Jakkrayarn See Deang is not a very good movie. Indeed, two
of the most popular stars of the time, Amita Tata Young and Mos Pattaveekarn,
make the movie appealing to Thai music fans but there isn't much of a story.
To my understanding, the story is about college life but I am confused about
how the Red Bicycle ties in with the movie. For most of the movie, the person
who has the red bicycle is another girl named Phrewl and Mos falls in love
with her at first. I don't understand this because I thought the nung-eg
was Tata. The only reason why he likes TaTa is because Phrewl moved to another
school. Perhaps the reason why Mos begins to like Tata is because she comes
into possession of the bike. The movie has many mini music videos which
are entertaining but they don't really have anything to do with the movie.
It also has some funny scenes but over-all, I think Jenny was a better
movie. (Jenny, starring Lift, was a movie that was released in Summer
of 96.) |
