4/4/03 : This is the first post of, I hope, many to come.  I still have no idea of what this website will be exactly but I think I will be adding music stuff, local music news, my thoughts of the day, photos, and generally anything that I can think of.  It might take a while for the page to get going but I guess we'll see what happens.

OK to start the music bit off I'll give a little review of the Fergusons gig I went to on Wednesday night at the Newport Hotel in Fremantle.  We got there early and the place already had quite a few people there.  First on stage was a young man named Bob Evans who looks very familiar to the Perth music scene.  He played a nice set of acoustic tunes and I believe he has an album coming out in a few months that should be highly anticipated.

Next up was Red Jezabel and they were pleasantly met by a happy and growing crowd.  New songs were played and they sounded very tight.  I never noticed before how much Paul Wood sounds like Brian Molko.

As The Fergusons set up, the Newport was packed with punters and local perthanalities alike.  Looking around I could spot all members of Jebediah, Eskimo Joe (except Kav), Fergus and others.  Previously released hits were played as well as the new material yet to be released and they all sounded great.  I must say that "Sinner Is Red" is sounding great and must be the next single released of the upcoming album.

6/4/03: Just a quick link in honour of the Ben Harper/Jack Johnson gig that is on tonight at Belvoir.  I can't go coz of my graduation and the fact that I have no money.  Oh well.

7/4/03: Well there are a few things to say today.  First of all congratulations to Russ & Dan (Russel Crowe & Danielle Spencer) on their marriage.  They seem like a good couple.  Second of all, too bad Wildcats.  They fucked it up just like I knew they would.  The Sydney Kings were too good on the night and good on them.

So I have graduated now and boy was it fun.  I had a fun night with my mum and my brother.  Photo's were expensive, frames were expensive, juice was watered-down and I didn't even get to wear one of those hat thingies.

Don't forget to listen to The Bens on Live @ The Wireless tonight as it should be very good.

I think Mondays will have 'Stuff Of the Week" but we will see how long it lasts.
Word Of The Week: Wickedsticks
Song Of The Week: The Superjesus - Stick Together
Evil Country Of The Week: U.S.A

Please give me feedback on what you think of the site in the guestbook or by e-mail.
8/4/03: Hey Shorty, It's your birthday!!!

The question of the day is "Is Saddam still alive?"

Has anyone noticed that Saddam's name
pronounced backwards is "Mad Ass"?
Coincidence? I think not.

Here is a timely quote from the Dalai Lama:
"The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all
the things one has started".

I am passing this onto you because it has definately worked for me.  By following this simple advice, I have finally found inner peace...Today I finished a bottle of vodka, 2 packets of Winfield Blue, 4 joints, some Prozac and a Cherry Ripe.

I feel better already.

Just quickly, this is
funny and wierd.

"If a murderous dictator won't use Weapons of Mass Destruction when he's days or hours from death, when
would he use them?" - anon.

Did you know that one month before the SARS virus outbreak the tourism slogan for Hong Kong was:

"Hong Kong will take your breath away."
How ironic and funny is that.

Released soon are some cool movies including:

X-Men 2
Matrix Reloaded
Terminator 3
Haggard
20/4/03:  Happy Easter to all of you.

If you haven't heard of Piebald, they are a very cool band.
22/4/03: I watched Donnie Darko on the
weekend and fuck it's a great movie.  If
you haven't seen it, go out right now and
get it.  It's a movie that you can watch,
discuss, think about later, watch again
and still think it's great.  Did you know
the bully in the movie is the lead singer
from
Phantom Planet?

On this day in 1991:
Remember the 486SX chip? It was released by Intel on this day in 1991. If you're still using one, maybe it's time to start thinking about getting an upgrade. Come on! Do it for the 'CONOMY!

If you like baby fart jokes click

23/4/03:  Listen in to Super Request on

Pumpkin and Zwan drummer Jimmy
Chamberlain talk to that bitch Rosie.
To submit a question you would like
asked simply click

I have added some more album
reviews and a poll over to the right.
If you have a spare 2 seconds vote in the poll.

Don't forget Big Brother 3 starts on Sunday.  If you are like me you hate Big Brother and think it is absolutely shite but will get sucked in straight away and watch it religiously every single night. Fuck I hate Gretel.
25/4/03Eskimo Joe have a new song
coming out on the new Secret Life Of Us
Soundtrack on April 28.  The song titled
"Smoke" will probably be on their upcoming
album.  The soundtrack also has tracks from
78 Saab, Magic Dirt, The Vines, Lazy Susan,
Waikiki and Paul Dempsey.

Here's some funny news: Last year Creed played a show in Chicago but all members were heavily intoxicated (shit-faced). As a result the show was even worse than a normal Creed show and the band later issued an apology to fans.  Well now 4 fans that were at the show are filing a law-suit against the band to get their money back.  This could turn into a class-action law-suit which means the +15,000 fans that were there could all get their money back costing Creed about $2 million.

Live's new album "Birds Of Prey" will be released in Australia on May 19th.

In other news,
The Pixies old label 4AD are planning on two new releases in September.  They should be a brand new Best Of compilation and a new DVD featuring live concert footage and all their music videos!

The
Sick Puppies have a new EP out with a few cool songs. They are the band that did that rock cover of Destiny Child's Say My Name.
30/4/03: FUCK I WISH ROVE WOULD
DIE!!!

You can catch
Little Birdy, Cartman and
Andy from
The Avenues tomorrow night at
