6/5/03: For those Big Brother fans out there, here is the site with all the goss and all the real news.  Oh and make sure you all vote that prick Ben out.

There is only 10 days until The Matrix Reloaded comes out, in the mean time read
50 reasons not to see Reloaded.

Coming up on Saturday 10th May are two very cool gigs that everyone must go to at least one.
1.
The Fergusons, Fouth Floor Collapse, Josivac and Rollerskates are playing at the Rosemount Hotel.

2.
Gyroscope, The Avenues, El Horizonte
and Bob Evans are playing at The
Amplifier Room.

18/5/03:  Go see The Matrix Reloaded coz it is pretty
good and make sure you stay until after the credits
finish to see the preview of The Matrix Revolutions.

A parody of
50 Cent and his hit In Da Club is located
here. Take a look if you dare.

Which enemy of the Christian faith are you?

The new
Superjesus album "Rock Music" comes out
tomorrow and it is a very nice piece of music.  They
will be touring WA in June/July supported by
Kingpin. Go
here to check out the dates. The next
single will definately be the song "Over & Out" and
I'm sure it will be big.

24/5/03: A great up and coming Perth band called The Fat Section are playing tomorrow night at the Leederville Hotel. Head down at about 8:30pm and mention "Stuff & Things" to get Free Entry.  Cheer them on for the 96Fm challenge.

29/5/03:  I went to the Rosemount Hotel last night and caught a fantastic gig. The bands playing were Purephase, End Of Fashion and The Plastik Scene.  As we arrived The Plastik Scene
were just starting and they
played a very mellow set
consisting of guitar, bass
and keyboard.  End of Fashion were a fuckin great rock surprise. With Justin, Rob and Hobsy from
The Sleepy Jackson and Vanessa from Jebediah, they are definately a band to keep an eye on. Sounding alot like Muse, they are really nice guys and should have an album coming out soon.  Their setlist for anyone that is interested was:
Counting, If I Cood, Oh Strain, One Night, Holly, Caress, Too Careful, Anymore, Children Run, Oh Yeah, Rough Diamonds
Oh and
Purephase were pretty good too.

Decided to put past posts in monthly pages on the left and added a local gig guide.

Go see Phonebooth coz it is quite
suspenseful and a damn good movie.

Remember
Regurgitator? Well they
haven't died, they have been touring
the UK and will be bringing out a new album next yeah as well as 5 track live DVD released later in the year.

Grinspoon are also planning on releasing a DVD in July and will feature live concert footage (filmed at their recent shows in WA), interviews with the band and candid behind the scenes footage filmed backstage, on tour and hanging out.

The soon-to-be released Australian film "Thunderstruck" is gonna have one hell of a soundtrack.  One such song will be a cover of an AC/DC song performed by Travis Dempsey(ex
Living End) on drums, Davey Lane(You Am I) on guitar, Janet English(Spiderbait) on bass and Phil Jamieson(Grinspoon) on vocals!!
