A painted fiberglass sculpture or model of Oda Nobunaga, depicted in the middle of a war at his tent, made in England, 2005. As you can see, half of the props are historically-correct and the rest are totally wrong. Notice the sandals, for example.

This picture was sent by Mei Huangyen from Sichuan, China. She found a local potter's vase with pictures of Japanese 'Warring States Period' personalities, one of which was of course Oda Nobunaga. Thank you so much, Mei.

This smirking Oda in Elizabeth-Taylorian fake fur winter coat is from a computer game in 2000. |

Easy to guess that in this picture Oda Nobunaga is made to be some evil force with magic at his disposal, a routine depiction of him since the dawn of videogames in 1980's.

This picture that very much looks like a real photograph from 19th century is of course just a painting; and a German painting in that matter, printed in a book about traditional Japanese crafts that was published in 1956. I really thank Günther Dau for digging up this piece from his grandma's attic (at least that's what I imagine to be the case).

A watercolor painting of Oda Nobunaga that was sent by Rafi Zdanek, from Dallas, Texas. Thanks a lot.
