I was a slush reader for the now defunct Orphic Chronicle and Nuketown webzines. Here in Portland, I'm concentrating more on writing (and drinking mojitos with the lovely writers of the Other Women .)
For four years, I lived in Tokyo, Japan. I had a little website/journal with emails I sent home about such diverse topics as Baseball Boys, morals, Yakuza, and my eggplant and daikon radish garden. Now I have a web journal over at journalscape.com (and at livejournal as shouldhave_said) that is more up to date with my current life.
If you're looking for markets listings, here are the ones I tend to use the most: Ralan's (good updates), Duotrope (searchable, includes literary markets, and interesting statistics), Eugie Foster's Childrens Markets , and Mary Anne Mohanraj's Literary Markets , and Quintamid (not extensive, but easily searchable)
