| Following through with tradition, our Tea Ceremony will take place at the bride's home. The grooms party will lead a procession bearing gifts into the bride's home where the parents proposes the union. After both parents have agreed, the bride is brought out and given to the groom. Bride and groom is then expected to serve tea to our ancestors to get their blessings for the union. Tea is then served to parents and family to get their blessings and good wishes. It is during this occassion that parents and family members present their gifts to wish the bride and groom a happy union. |
