DREAMS AND THOUGHTS | ||||||||
If I were to expose all the dreams and thoughts, I would be a shallow grave, Of decaying bones and rotting flesh, If I were to open my eyes and see the world, I would be a shallow soul, Of tempest sweet and dignity, My naked body is the solace of kings, And the playground of paupers and beggar thieves, I am a tool of man's lustful need, And the mother of life and creativity, Has not my mind forgotten the bitter taste, Of lovers scorn and torn hearts, Shant the night be my cover as I try to protect, My breasts and thighs from the sharp teeth, Of the wolves that haunt me in my sleep, Come to me love and make me your queen, I give to you my body, my life, my dreams, Take my heart and slowly devour, Cooked passionately in the heat of your loins, Take from me this hour, Of pain and hurt and emotions deep, The rewards of life are love , But the rewards of love is pain |
