ODE TO MIKALIS
The stars always sparkled bright in my eyes,
Dancing with love for life,
Dreamer, thats what they said,
Begging me to face reality,
No one ever understood me,
Could not see life through my eyes,
No one could fathom my desire for love,
Love as no soul has ever felt,
I was alone,
All alone,
Lovers have come and gone,
And still I search on,
For the one to entice me,
With the deepths of his heart,

I met you ,
Through a force non my own,
At first it was a folly fun,
Slowly ,
You opened your heart to me,
Hours we spent dreaming ,
Sharing our lives,
Your thoughts, your emotions,
All reflected my own,
In the pools of your eyes,
I could see my dreams,
Two souls connect through love divine,
Yet,
You could not see past my flaws of design,
Your eyes could not forget the beauty you so desired,
And all those emotions, connections of soul,
Ment nothing , were useless,
Unless you were blind,
And for awhile you were,
And love flourished,
But then when you regained your sight,
You turned from me and I was alone,
Alone,
All alone,

Nothing can change the way that I feel,
And maybe I was  a fool to think that you ,
Could ever see life through my eyes,
Your aging now,
And someday you'll find,
The things you thought so important,
Are what really made you blind,
And one day you'll remember our love,
And the way I made you feel,
Feel without touch,
Without ever seeing my face,
And you will know that you had true love,
Yet, it will be too late,
For I shall continue my search,
For someone to quench my soul and make me feel,
Complete and whole,
And, you my love, will have run out of time,
Stuck in a stagment life,
With no rhythm of soul,
And you'll look back and then you 'll know,,
That it is you who is really all  alone,
Old,
And bitter,
Frail and weak,
With no one to love as I loved you,
All alone, all alone
