Snacking Tips

When you feel the urge to snack on something
consider one of  these ideas:

  • Low-fat Bugles

  • Crackers

  • Handful of nuts

  • English Muffin or a bagel

  • Frozen seedless grapes

  • Low-fat pudding

  • Low-fat yogurt

  • Low or non-fat cookies

  • Dehydrated fruit or fruit mix

  • Rice cakes

  • Cucumbers with vinegar & olive oil

  • Plain popcorn

  • Assorted bite size vegetables

  • Assorted fruit cup

  • Apples slices with salt

  • Hot tea or Coffee

  • Pretzels

  • Raisins

  • A cup of vegetable soup

  • Graham crackers w/fruit spread

  • A glass of fruit juice

  • Gum

  • Hard candy

  • Dry cereal

  • Brush your teeth [to avoid snacking]

Eating 3 healthy meals a day should help
curb the urge to snack.
Along with 8 glasses of water per day.
