Glacier descends from the Southern Alps into rainforest, making the westcoast glaciers unique in the world. Most tracks can be walked by visitors of average fitness. First Panorama is taken at Glacier Valley Viewpoint. It's a 2.5km drive up the Glacier View Road which is just a few km away from the Fox Glacier Village. The second panorama is taken at the Fox Glacier Village. It's a small peaceful town. We had our smoked salmon dinner at a this restaurant. |
