Thomas Dodson drove to his wife’s home, ripped out the telephone lines and tried to break down the back door in order to gain access to his estranged family. When this course of action failed, Dodson grabbed a rock, broke a window and climbed inside the house. Angela was forced to hide in her bedroom with her children, and as her estranged husband repeatedly attempted to break down the bedroom door, she allegedly defended herself with a .38 caliber revolver. According to the report, she aimed the revolver, shot through the door and wounded Dodson in the leg. But her ordeal wasn’t over yet. After an apparent retreat, Dodson re-entered his wife’s home and proceeded to pummel the locked bedroom door until he punched through one panel and attempted to gain access. That’s when Angela allegedly shot him once again in the leg and another time in the head.(The woman and her children are alive today, because she had the means, and the Right to defend her family. It's not the first time a community has tried to make peace with itself.
Just last Wednesday, concerned residents filed into the Driftwood Community
Centre, at Jane St. near Finch Ave. for a town hall meeting. Only 15 metres
away — and minutes before the meeting began — gunfire rattled home yet
another reminder of the need for peace. Witnesses outside the community
centre reported hearing gunshots at Brookfield Middle School across the
street. The gunshots were followed by a loud noise — the sound of a late
model Ford 4X4 pickup truck slamming into a hydro pole.(The
4x4 was NOT filled with hunters, or legal gun owners. It was filled with
young criminals out for revenge of some sort. Their unregistered, unlicensed,
handguns, are usually bought on the black market created by the Liberal
Governments futile attempts to target the law abiding instead of the criminal.
Virtually all young black men murdered in Toronto are shot by other young
black men with a smuggled gun. It's much easier to smuggle a hand gun into
the country, than to steal one from it's legal owner. The feds had a choice,
they could have spent a Billion Dollars on REAL crime prevention, but instead
decided to create a bureaucratic nightmare aimed squarely at law abiding
firearms owners, that virtually EVERY police officer will agree
does nothing to prevent crime. What we need is something like the 10-20-life
law that has worked amazingly well in Florida.. The only problem with Canadian
justice? Life IS 25 years.. If Charley Manson was a Canadian, he
