Manchester Community Fair Animal Auction
Buyers
Lambs will be judged at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday and sold at the auction on Thursday evening.
First time buyers: You will need to register before the auction
{apx . 8:00pm}.
You will be given a Buyers card with a number to hold up if you choose to bid on any animals during the auction. If you purchase an animal, you will be handed a Buyers slip that you will need to fill out and hand back in by the end of the auction.
On the buyers slip you are given several options
                    * If you simply want the animal to be re-sold, (you don't want the meat) indicate which Livestock Exchange you want us to deliver the animal. Once the Livestock Exchange re-sells the animal they will send a check to your address on the slip for the re-sold amount.
* If you would like your animal processed
{meat in your freezer}, you may choose the Meatpacking Company. The clubs are responsible for getting your purchased lamb to the Meatpacking Co. You need to contact the Co. directly yourself to arrange processing & pick-up.
*Should you want to pick-up the animal directly from the fair to bring home or what ever, you can do this as well. You should need to make the arrangements with that club for your pick-up time.
To pay for the animal you purchased; you can do so the same night of the auction, or you will be sent an invoice to address on slip with the amount due. Payment within 30 days is appreciated because No funds can be distributed to members until All funds have been received.
