Rules of Order All members shall sit in close proximity to each other with parents by the side. The meeting should be run as much as possible by the members with parents assuming the responsibility of Advisors. President calls meetings to order. Minutes read by secretary and approved by members. Treasurer gives report. President facilitates continuance of old business, then new business. All decisions should be delegated to the members much as possible this is their club. Parents need to help whenever neccessary but allow the members to take as much lead as possible. The Agenda shall be aproved by vote of all members present before becoming official . President motions to adjourn the meetings. |
| About our Club Officers Club President: This person was the vice president last year. The president shows good leadership skills, is well organized and is willing to help others. He or she organizes meeting handouts and is in charge of calling to order and closing of meetings. If not available to run the meeting then the Vice President shall take their place. Next in succession shall be the Floating Officer , then the Treasurer. Vice President: This member shall assist the Club President and fill in, in the President's absence. This person shall be the Club President the following year. This person shows good team leadership skills, organized, and willing to help others. Treasurer's Assistant: This member will assist with all club funancial aspects, as appointed. Secretary: This person takes roll, passes out minutes of last meeting, reads the report of the minutes from the previous meetings, and makes note of any necessary changes. This member will also take the minutes at each meeting, if not able, then the floating officer and then the vice president. Floating Officer: This club member will fill in as requested by the president, in case of an absence of any of the above club officers. |
