more Glacier Trail
At Poboktan Campground Patrice headed straight for Poboktan creek and a very cold bath.  Refreshed, she's setting up her tent. I found that cold water is good for my arthritic big toe.  And we discovered the Whiskey Jacks can find berries in our trail mix through the stuff sack and two layers of plastic.  It's a nice site.
Day 4.  We are enroute to Mary Vaux  Campground.  We come to Poligne Creek.  Perhaps you can imagine what happened here.  Yup.  Patrice finds out how cold the creek is.  That one tree bridge is a wee bit too shaky.  We are very glad everything in her pack is in plastic bags and she had the wits to land on her back pack and didn't hurt herself.
The sky turns gray but the views remain outstanding even in lousy weather.  These three pictures are approaching Maligne Pass.  We are enroute to Mary Vaux Campground.
Patrice gets more or less dried out after her "swim".  We continue.  It begins to rain. Patrice's knee gives out 20 minutes out of Poboktan Campground.  So we stay at Poboktan and take an extra day before continuing.  Now the weather is gray and wet.  Patrice is a great fire tender. We play the world cribbage championship.  I win.
