There are a number of things taking place and we are praying daily and trusting the Lord to lead us in the way he would have us go. I want to share with you regarding three things that we are working toward that have a far reaching and significant effect upon our lives and ministry.
The first has to do with our incorporated name. For some time now I have felt uneasy about continuing the use of a personal name as the name of this ministry. Sure it’s my name and we are set up as a non-profit under the name David Kralik Ministries, Inc. That name was just fine seven years ago when I first incorporated as a ministry. It’s time now for a little redirection where the name is concerned. We want the name to be more representative of this ministry. Over the course of the next few months we will be taking the necessary steps to amend our articles of incorporation to reflect the coming name change to Bread and Water Ministries.
The second has to do with a physical relocation. We have for some time now been considering a move for a number of reasons, the most important being accommodating our personal needs and the future needs of this ministry. As of this writing we are making plans to relocate to the Alabama Gulf-Coast area and will be making the move before winter sets in here in New Jersey. Our tentative plans are to head south the last week of October.
The third involves a needed area of ministry that we are beginning. This ministry is our Discipleship Bible School. DBS is a correspondence school that focuses on genuine Biblical discipleship. Our textbook for the school is the Bible and we have a very comprehensive discipleship curriculum in place. The Bread and Water Discipleship Bible School already has a number of inmates enrolled as our inaugural class and we will accept inmate enrollments at any time. However, because of the logistics involved in relocating, DBS will not be open to the general Church public until January of 2004.
Please keep us in your prayers as we endeavor to walk the way the Lord is leading. |
