~BOOKNOTES~

Sometimes I have been accused of being a bookworm. I have developed the habit of reading several books at one time, and enjoying all of them.

Here is a short list of Christian books that I find particularly meaningful and rich. Most of them I own, although I do give the person at the inter-library loan desk of our public library quite a workout when I am on a quest for more information about a subject that takes my fancy.

If one of the books below looks interesting to you, and you wish to purchase it, or search for others by the same author or in the same category, just type either the title or the author’s name in the search box below. This will take you directly to one of my favorite sites, www.christianbook.com . They have everything from Bibles to fiction, commentaries and history, at a reasonable price.

The New Bread and Water has recently become a Christianbook affiliate. If you click through this site to purchase from Christianbook.com, The New Bread and Water earns a small percentage. If you are anything like me, you purchase a lot of Christian books and music. What a wonderful way to contribute to this ministry by doing something you would ordinarily do anyway!
