WEEK OF 05/23/05
Monday 05/23/05: PORK KABOBS WITH ASSORTED VEGETABLES:
Succulent, tender pork loin, cubed and steeped in a citrus based marinade, skewered and cooked on the grill. Served with an assortment of grilled vegetables seasoned with a secret Bayou herb blend.
(The citrus marinade tenderizes the pork and adds a zing to the flavor that is delicately counter pointed by the Bayou seasoning of the vegetables! An order of twice baked potatoes would be an excellent addition)

Tuesday 05/24/05: STUFFED EGGPLANT ROLLS:
Thin slices of eggplant, breaded and seared in the skillet; topped with a delicate three cheese/parsley filling and rolled. Baked in a casserole with Mom’s famous home made red sauce topped with mozzarella cheese and served atop a raft of angel hair pasta.
(A cross between eggplant parm and stuffed shells, this is a definite “Must Have” dinner! Order some garlic bread and a salad. What about some good, old fshioned strawberry shortcake too!)

Wednesday 05/25/05: JAMBALAYA:
Classic, New Orleans recipe with rice, smoked sausage, tomatoes, green peppers and onions. (Kinda like eating Bourbon Street. All the flavors  and spices working together to take you on down to N’Orleans. What about an order of garlic bread and a crisp salad?)


Thursday: 05/26/05: GORGONZOLA BURGER STACKER: 
Lean ground steak, lightly seasoned, formed around a ball of delicate, Italian gorgonzola cheese and grilled. Served stacked with grilled onion and tomato slices with fresh corn on the cob grilled in its husk
(As you cut into the burger it is like a flavor explosion; the grilled veggies are just icing on the cake! What about some “twice bakeds”  to go with it and a strawberry shortcake to finish. Sort of like 4th. of July in May!)

Anyday, Substitute for any day this week
ASSORTED STUFFED SHELLS:
Oversized pasta shells, precooked and stuffed with Sicilian meat filling, a traditional ricotta stuffing or spinach cheese stuffing (your choice, either select one or a mix) smothered with Mom’s famous, home made, red sauce. (The subtle flavors of these different stuffings  complement each other while vying for your attention! Order sides of garlic bread and  sautéed broccoli)

GRILLED GREEK CHICKEN OVER MIXED SPRING GREENS SALAD: (Your choice of dressing)
Plump chicken breasts, seasoned with a subtle Greek blend and grilled, sliced and served on a bed of mixed spring greens with tomato and cucumber . (Crunchy, refreshing, light, tasty, satisfying; oh yes, and just plain good! An order of garlic bread might be good and strawberry shortcake to follow too!)

VIDALIA ONION PIE:
Sweet vidalia onions cooked with Swiss cheese, cream, eggs and a hint of freshly ground nutmeg to make this classic, delicately  flavored pie. Served with your choice of one free   regular side dish
(Flavor, flavor, flavor!! A side of  garlic sauteed broccoli would go well! Strawberry shortcake to finish it off?)

COSTA RICAN PULLED PORK ADOBO WITH BLACK BEANS AND RICE:
Tender pork cooked in adobo sauce and then hand pulled. Served, dressed with cilantro on a bed of traditionally prepared black beans and rice with sour cream. (Like most Costa Rican cuisine, simple and yet very pleasing. Order some sautéed zucchini and garlic bread  to go with it.)

Orders need to be placed at least 24 hours prior to pickup. Payment (Cash or Check) is required at time of pick up. If possible, let us know your pick-up time and whether you would like your meal to be "Hot & Ready to Eat"
