| Monday 03/28/05: COUNTRY STYLE CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM PIE: Chicken, mushrooms, carrots and peas prepared in a rich, peppery sauce topped with chunked potatoes and baked ‘till they start to brown (This recipe is a Scottish favorite and will warm you through and through. Try a side order of roasted asparagus and some brownies, ’at’ll do it!) Tuesday 03/29/05: BEEF POTROAST: Prime Angus chuck roast slow cooked with carrots, onions, turnip and white potatoes, served with a sauce made from the rich juices (This recipe is designed to tenderize some of the tougher cuts of beef; imagine how tender it will be with Angus beef. Order some mushrooms with wine and garlic and some garlic bread to sop up the juices. OH WOW!!) Wednesday 03/23/05: SAVORY STUFFED PORK CHOPS: Thick cut pork chops, split and stuffed with a savory stuffing with apples, baked till they are golden and juicy and served with oven baked rosemary potatoes (The apple in the stuffing ensures that it stays nice and moist. Order some roasted asparagus and a Greek salad. Brownies ‘d be good too!) Thursday: 03/24/05: SHRIMP FRIED RICE: Succulent shrimp tossed together with an assortment of vegetables and a subtle spice blend that will blow you away (A real treat that showcases the shrimp’s flavor so well. Order a crisp salad and some roasted asparagus too!) Anyday, Substitute for any day this week STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS: Green peppers, hollowed out and filled with a fragrant stuffing of ground meat, rice, tomatoes, mint, dill and lemon zest and cooked with a tasty, homemade tomato sauce. Served with dilled, young carrots (This recipe, with a hint of the middle east makes regular stuffed peppers feel very inadequate. Order some garlic bread and a Greek salad!!) PORK STIR FRY WITH MUSHROOMS: Strips of pork, marinated in oriental spices and flash cooked in the wok with asparagus and mushrooms. Served over oriental style noodles (Order some garlic bread and some dessert to make your simple dish into a classic meal.) CAESAR SALAD WITH RASPBERRY GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST & PARMESAN SLIVERS: A classic Caesar salad with home made croutons served topped with grilled chicken breast that has been slathered with raspberry sauce and sliced.
