Merlion Awards Program Disqualification

  We can only evaluate your site in English Languages.

  We do not evaluate sites which promote any sort of illegal activities.

  We do not evaluate sites containing violence, racism or any form of pornography and / or any sexually explicit material.

  A site or page that freezes, crashes, or otherwise causes a computer to close one or more windows, or the computer itself, will be disqualified. (We will try to evaluate your site, but if this happens two times in succession we will disqualify your site).

  We do not evaluate sites requiring a user name or password in order to access it.

  We do not evaluate sites containing only award program.

  Substantial content is considered to be a minimum of 10 pages of originally created works by the submitting Webmaster. This excludes guest books, forum entries, awards received pages, chat rooms and webrings.

  We do not evaluate sites with trailing cursors, or any script which interferes with or changes our default cursor.

  We do not evaluate unofficial fan sites, commercial sites (any site which sells something). If you are unsure, please ask before you apply.

  We do not evaluate sites which collect personal information but have no privacy statement or disclaimer.

  A site with "under construction" or "coming soon" signs will be disqualified

  An application without correct password will not be accepted

  A site containing more than 1 broken internal link and 3 broken external links will be disqualified.

  A site (or portion of site) requiring a download to be viewed will be disqualified.

  A site can be optimized for one browser or resolution but you have to declare it on the home page. Without any declaration the site must be viewable with any browser and at 800x600 and 1024x768 screen resolutions without a horizontal scroll.

  Re application permitted after 90 days
