  Please do a self check on your site with the following checklist.

  Are you 14 years of age or older?

  Is your site free of Adult and sexually explicit content?

  Have you read the qualification criteria ?

  There is no Under Construction in any area of your site?

  Is your site free of password areas or members only areas?

  Is your site free of prejudice and hate toward anyone or group of persons?

  Does your site contain content and not just Links to other sites?

  Does your site have a separate page to display awards, not displaying awards on opening page?

  Is your site free of java prompts or pop-ups which you have put on your site?

  Is your site in English or have an English Version ?

  Is your entire site free of horizontal scrolling on viewing at 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 resolution?

  Are you the owner,Webmaster and Creator of the site being submitted?

  Is your site non-commercial, not trying to sell anything or asking for donations for any reason?

  Is your site free of flashing page backgrounds and flashing Text?

  Are you serious about seeking awards for your site?

If your answer to every item on the above checklist is 'Yes', then your site may be eligible for an award. You should go to the application page and give it a try.

If there is a 'No' on the checklist above, then your site would not be eligible for the Merlion Awards.
