Jackson Hotel located on the Southwest
   corner of Market and Line Streets
                  Built in 1885

                      LANDMARK RAZED
The hotel , once a major local point in downtown             Minerva was damaged by a sever storm in 2006 .           In its prime the Jackson Hotel had three stories, but      over the years it lost its top  story and balconies The building also held a bar and several different retail        shops in its years of existence . was razed on Nov 7 ,     2007

  made dinnerware The .building is  still standing and houses  a few different  businesses 
The log cabin where Pim Taylor and his wife Keziah Whitacre lived and their daughter Minerva Ann Taylor was born,.It is still standing and is located on Plain Street in Minerva
