									Pictures of  TWO  fires in Minerva in recent times
				The Pictures above are of a The FIRST CHRISTIAN  CHURCH  located on West Lincoln Way in Minerva that burnt in the year 1949 .
							The pictures below are of the most recent fire burning several places of business
																																						The Pictures below are the aftermath of the fire . Destroyed were a Dairy Queen. Second Hand Childrens store, Coin Operated Laundry, Tax Preperation Office , Flower Shop, Furniture Store,Thermo-Devices Inc. plus two apts on the second floor
		The Picture to the right is the fire in progress the night of FEB 28th ,  2003 about 10:00 P.M..The fire was at the south east corner of East Lincoln Way and Bonnieville Ave.
						There was another disaster that I have read about and that was a FLOOD in 1911. Minerva could not have been to populated at that time, People lived close to Sandy Creek and that is why it was so bad .
	There was also another disaster in the 1920s . There was an Opera House in the center of town that burnt down . I will try and get pictures or more information on both the flood , mentioned above , and the fire mentioned here
