Drawing
Minnie Standing (Entire Body)
Welcome
to another lesson in drawing Minnie Mouse. If you haven't
learned to draw Minnie's head in a 3/4 perspective, please
do so. You will have a much harder time doing this without
learning that lesson.
Minnie's
body is a lot more expressive than Mickey's. She wears a dress
and since Minnie has a very feminine feel, you just can't
draw her the same has as Mickey.
You will
need pencils and some scrap paper (Graph paper recommended).
Pencils will erase the lines that are unnecessary when the
drawing is finished. Colored pencils, crayons and other means
of coloring are optional. You could color your drawing with
a pencil.
Step
1

In
the animation world, Minnie is 3 heads tall - about the same
size as Mickey. If we put someone like Goofy side to side,
she must be smaller than him! Besides, Giant Minnies are scary
to look at! The blue streak is the direction her body will
be posing. It's not straight, as Minnie is very feminine in
stature.
Step
2

Next
are the arms and legs. Please make sure that the knees here
are bent a little.
Step
3

Here
comes the Mouse ears! Remember, this is a 3/4 perspective,
which means we are kind of looking at Minnie's head from the
side, not straight ahead. Make sure Minnie's shoes are pointing
together as pictured above. Minnie is VERY expressive with
her feet!
Step
4

Make
sure you know how to do Minnie's head 3/4! It was explained
in the last lesson.
