I woke up several times in the night. First, I woke up by the Hwy 2 junction east of Gananoque, Ontario. Next, I woke up while our bus was parked in a Howard Johnson hotel parking lot in Bowmanville, just off Hwy 401. Towards 5 a.m. I woke up again in Kitchener, by the Hwy 8 junction. About 45 minutes later I woke up for good on Hwy 402 approaching Wonderland Road in London. Our bus went up to Scouter Brian's house first, where we unloaded some troop gear. Then, the bus went to drop us off at our troop meeting place. The parents were there to pick their Scouts up. One Scout had a welcome back banner waiting for him. My Dad picked me up. We went to church that morning, then I slept for most of the day since I was so tired. I did wake up once to go to Wal-Mart in Oakridge Mall to drop off my films to develop my CJ photos. We had hamburgers for supper, and I remember eating them completely oblivious to my surroundings since I was so tired. Less than 24 hours after leaving PEI, I was back home in London.
