Hisorical Significance-Hiroshima
Although it has been said that the dropping of the atomic bomb ended World War Two, it was only a small link of a chain of events that ended the war.

One frequent argument is that countless lives were saved-estimated to be around 50,000 before the drop. After, however, figures upwards of one
million were cited.

The destruction of Hiroshima may have caused some hesitation towards continuing the war, but Japan had been trying to get Russia to negotiate peace talks already.

Attempts to allow a continuation of the Imperial System would have immediately have brought a surrender, as Japan was willing if their living entity would survive.

The part Hiroshima
might have played in Japan's surrender was that atomic bombs could immediately obliterate Japan.
This helped Emperor Hirohito to defy tradition and tell his councilors to end the war.
