Crushes or Soul Mate?
Have you ever wondered if the scouts ever do
anything besides fighting demons? Well, they do have lives and even crushes. I personally
think that some of these characters are destined to be together, much like Serena and
Darien, but others may argue that they are only crushes. So I leave the desicion up to
you: Crush or Soulmate?
Chad-Rei's Guy

If you read Rei's
grandfather's profile page, you are probably already familiar with Chad (whose japanese
name is Yuuichirou Kumada) the crazy wanna-be (in my opinion) rock star with wild hair who
takes a break at Rei's temple. And since you're already familiar with him, I can just see
your mouth dropping open at the very thought of him and Rei together. You better believe
it. Chad's had his eye on Rei for a while. He continually worries about her and in one
episode, Rei was doing a fire reading and the ends of her hair got singed. Chad sweetly
removed his robe belt and tied up her hair with it. (Awwww..) He then saw Rei on the back
of Amara's (Haruka) motorcycle and mistook Amara for a guy. He met Amara sometime later in
a deserted lot or something like that and dared her to fight for Rei. Rei showed up and
was really furious with Chad for trying to fight Amara. Chad left the temple and this
sappy music started playing. The train he was supposed to take out of town was really a
daimon and Sailor Mars had to come by and rescue him and luckily, everything was okay. It
turns out Chad is pretty rich. He once took the Sailor Scouts up to a ski cabin where
Sailor Mars and Sailor Moon had to confront each
other about Serena and Darien being meant to be together, while Darien is going out with
Rei. (Fight, fight, fight!) Chad is forever trying to impress Rei, but I think he's really
sweet. I also think Serena looks SOOO stupid in her little matchmaker outfit, trying to
get Rei and Chad to kiss. Little did Serena know that Rei and Chad didn't need any help.
Ken-Lita's Guy

Ken is a guy that Lita has
known forever. Through all of her boyfriends, including the infamous Freddy, Ken was her
shoulder to lean on. In the picture you see above, Lita and Ken are huddling underneath
his umbrella. The story behind it is the song you know as Rainy Day Man. Lita and this guy
(I always thought of him as Freddy, but I honestly don't know) were underneath a gazebo
and he tells her he doesn't want to see her anymore and runs off. Lita starts to run after
him, but then stops and just stands there, getting soaked in the rain. Ken comes by with
his umbrella
and shields her from the rain. We first meet him in a episode where Ken gets hurt or gets
possessed by a villain or something (I can't think very well this early in the morning)
and Lita has to save him. That's the episode she starts to think of him as more than a
friend. Personally, I think those two make a great couple (Just look at the picture. They
look so cute together) and I think Ken is a very sweet guy. So it's said that they will
always only be 'best friends.' I say that they should just TRY going out just once.
Greg-Ami's Guy

make the cutest couple? So he's not the hottest guy around, but still....Far right: The
monster Greg transformed into-don't worry, Sailor Mercury banished the monster and brought
back Greg
Greg is a really brainy guy who I think makes a adorable match for Ami. She first heard of
him when they were tied for first place in this test. They met face to face when they took
a test together. Greg was really nervous and kept dropping his eraser. Ami picked it up
for him once, and as she handed it to him, she smiled and told him to relax. (Isn't Ami
nice to her potential enemies?) The later on, the Negaverse comes after him because he has
one of the Seven Crystals in him and Sailor Mercury goes to protect him. He tells her he
knows she's Ami as well as Sailor Mercury. It turns out he can see into the future, which
is how he knows all the answers to the tests. He and Ami become friends after she saves
him. He has to go away for awhile and Ami is heartbroken when he leaves. Yeah, right. In
fact, she denied liking him at all. I totally agree with Lita when she says, "Ami,
ever hear of a river in Egypt called DE-NILE?" I think Ami and Greg should
definitely, without a question, become a couple. Hey, they might even give Darien and
Serena a run for their money.
